Step #2 Hire a Seller's Agent

There are two sides to every real estate transaction. There is the buyer’s side…and of course, there is the seller’s side.

The seller is most often times represented by a Seller’s Agent. A seller’s agent has a fiduciary responsibility to negotiate the best possible price and terms for the seller. In addition to this responsibility, the agent will also assist the seller with the following:

- Help determine current market value for his/her property and offer suggestions on pricing strategy for the property prior to listing.

- Market the property to the most appropriate target audience for that property, including (but not limited to) placing the property on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service)

- Ensure the home is sold at the best possible value for the seller in the shortest amount of time.
